Thankyou for your interest in writing for AMJGH. The journal accepts unsolicited articles, reviews and news stories and aims to publish your work quickly, while remaining committed to a thorough and rigourous peer review process involving academics and clincians in the Global Health field. We also aim to commission review and news articles on a regular basis for themed issues.
News Pieces & Letters
We welcome submissions of short news stories for the journal. Stories should be no more than 300 words. Please submit your story, double spaced, in any widely-used text file format. We will also print interesting letters and responses to articles. Submissions may be edited for content and style purposes.
Articles
Original articles and reviews form the backbone of the journal and we aim to publish a wide range of high-quality work from around the world.
Feel free to contact the editorial team - we encourage authors to discuss their ideas with us early on. We will provide information on our peer review procedures on request.
Finished articles should be a maximum of 3000 words and emailed to AMJGH@almamata.net, double spaced, in any widely-used text file format. Individual images and graphics should be of high resolution, but not exceed 5MB in size and be attached to the submission email. preferably in jpeg format. In the case of graphs and charts, please provide, where possible, original spreadsheet files including the data from which the graphics are derived. Emails larger than 20MB in total will be rejected by our server.
Referencing
Please cite references at the end of your submission, numbered in the order they appear in the text using the Vancouver system of referencing.
