As part of its development of training and service programs, the Division of International Health develops training materials and adapts suitable materials from other Centers for Disease Control & Prevention sources.
For example one can access self-paced training tutorials that provide interactive instruction, allowing individuals to concentrate on a single learning objective and provide learners with in-depth descriptions of the subject and an opportunity to practice the skills learned through a series of interactive components and examples.
The target audience is primarily public health employees and trainees of field epidemiology training programs.

PMRHE logo

People's Movement for Human Rights Education (PDHRE) has produced 8 training videos for learning about CEDAW and its relevance to women's daily lives.
The video series and accompanying manual are available in English, French, and Spanish. Cost of the video and manual ($35.00) includes shipping costs. Free copies are available for organisations and communities in developing countries.
The manual was prepared as a guideline for the training of trainers who are expected to adopt it to their own national and local needs and introduce CEDAW across their societies, with a special emphasis on the community level.
The Series and the Manual were produced with the support of the Austrian Government and the Vienna Institute for Development and Cooperation in collaboration with women human rights groups and film makers in Argentina, USA, Senegal and Tanzania.
