The BMA has published 'Broadening your Horizons: A guide to taking time out to work and train in developing countries'.
"The BMA International Department has published guidance for doctors who wish to take time out from their NHS careers to work and train in developing countries.
Broadening your horizons: a guide to taking time out and work and train in developing countries outlines national policies as well as examples of best practice.
It helps doctors at all stages to make experience overseas a valuable part of their NHS careers. "
