www.hero.ac.uk Hero (Higher Education and Research Opportunities in the United Kingdom) lists all UK universities and colleges, including the Royal Colleges which are responsible for clinical training. If you are planning overseas work and are currently engaged in specialist training, your Royal College will specify how you will need to arrange this. It profiles all UK universities, which is useful if you want to find out more about research and courses.

www.prospects.ac.uk This a website offering a guide to planning, funding and finding post-graduate courses in the UK. It is useful for a general overview of post-graduate education and also lists UK courses.

www.troped.org TropEd is a network of European institutions for higher education in international health. It collaborates closely with institutions in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
